HP Malaysia today announced that its new HP Chromebook X360 11 G3 is now available locally. Featuring a convertible form factor and Intel-enhanced performance, the brand’s Chrome OS-powered laptop is introduced to enhance the digital classroom experience for both teachers and students.
Being a convertible, the new laptop features a 360-degree hinge which enables it to be used as a regular laptop or as a tablet + kickstand. The latter experience is further enhanced by its damage-resistant 11.6-inch IPS touchscreen that features a HD resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and a luminance of 220 nits. The display also comes with support for the optional HP Wacom EMR stylus, and situated on its upper bezel is an integrated 720p HD camera for video calls.
Powering the Chromebook X360 11 G3 is a multi-core Intel Celeron N4020 processor with integrated Intel UHD Graphics 600 and Intel Turbo Boost support. This is paired with 4GB of LPDDR4-2400 MHz RAM and an internal storage capacity of 32GB eMMC. HP claims the device offers users a long usage time via its built-in HP Long Life 2-cell 47Wh battery, which also features fast charging via the included 45W USB-C power adapter.
Speaking of ports, the new convertible laptop comes with two USB-C 3.1 and two USB-A 3.1 ports, as well as a 3.5m headphone/microphone combo jack. In terms of audio, it features dual speakers and an integrated microphone.
The HP Chromebook x360 G3 11 is offered in a Chalkboard Gray colour and is available now at a promotional price of RM1,299 for a limited time. In addition, those interested can also opt for a 12-month instalment as low as RM108.25 per month via the HP Online Store or authorised e-commerce platforms such as Lazada and Shopee. Once its launch promotion period is over, the laptop will retail at a recommended price of RM1,499.
