Maxis has introduced a new prepaid plan called the Hotlink Prepaid Internet 365. As you might be able to guess from its name, the plan revolves around long-term validity for Hotlink customers out there.
The main highlight of the new Hotlink Prepaid Internet 365 is that the customers’ data quota will be valid for 365 days. Maxis pointed out that the long validity means that there will be no wasted quota and customers no longer need to purchase Internet passes on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
According to Hotlink’s website, there are three data passes available for this plan including 2GB for RM 6 and 4GB for RM 10. They can also choose to get the 10GB pass which costs RM 20 or even much lower at RM 5 for customers that are eligible for Jaringan Prihatin.
However, don’t mistake the data validity period with your Hotlink SIM card validity as they are not the same thing. Essentially, customers still need to make sure that their Hotlink SIM continues to be valid although under the Hotlink Prepaid Internet 365, the SIM active period is much longer at 60 days.
Hotlink Prepaid Internet 365 subscribers do have the option to extend the SIM active period to 365 days but would cost them an additional RM 30. Meanwhile, those who are interested to sign for this plan can get their hands on the special SIM Pack bundle which includes RM 2 credit and 10GB data quota for RM 25 through Hotlink’s official website right here.
Alternatively, they can also obtain the standard Hotlink Prepaid Internet 365 pack which costs RM 10 through 7-Eleven, myNEWS, and 99 Speedmart outlets. The standard pack comes with RM 5 credit which has a validity period of 5 days but customers have to purchase the Internet pass separately.
