Apple has launched a set of limited-edition Sport Loop bands for Apple Watch collectively known as the International Collection bands. There are 22 bands in total and each of them have been designed to represent specific countries.
Unfortunately, Apple didn’t craft one for Malaysia though, despite the fact that these new bands are already available in our market. Here is the full list of countries that are being represented by the International Collection bands:
Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Russia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, and the United States.
According to the company, the International Collection bands have been designed “to celebrate the describable drive and competitive spirit of all athletes and fans,”. Hence, it is not surprising to see that the release of these bands seemed to be timed nicely with the 2020 Tokyo Olympics which will begin on 23 July.
Each of the 22 International Collection bands is also accompanied by a matching Stripes watch face that users can download to their Apple Watch. In our market, the band costs RM 199 each and can be obtained through Apple Malaysia’s online store although do note that some of the 22 bands are not yet available in the store.
