It’s that time of the year again when Steam has its annual Summer Sale. The sale this time around will be ongoing for two weeks, ending on 9 July. As you’d expect, deals go anywhere from a measly five percent discount all the way up to 85%.
With the new Battlefield 2042 announcement, some of the previous games in the series sees significant price cuts as part of the Steam Summer Sale. You can get Battlefield V for 75% off, or a collection of Battlefield 4, 1 and V for 83% off. Ghost Recon Wildlands, while not the latest game in the series, is also 70% off. Dark Souls 3 is also going for a 75% discount.
Then there are other games with smaller price cuts, but their already lower price sweetens the deal. An example is Horizon Zero Dawn, with a 40% discount putting it at RM48. It’s much the same story with Halo: The Master Chief Collection. It only has a 50% discount, but that gives it a temporary RM32.50 price tag.
The gimmick this time around is what Valve calls Forge Your Fate. It’s essentially a tiny choose your adventure minigame. You get two options to choose from for each of the 14 highlighted genres, and you get a sticker for your choice. That’s about it. Then there’s the usual Steam points for every sale.
As mentioned, the current Steam Summer Sale lasts until 9 July. If you’re into collecting stickers, be sure to complete the Forge Your Fate sequence before then. Ditto any Steam points you get from your purchases.
