Earlier in April, The LEGO Group announced that Luigi will join Mario in the dimension of bricks. Now, the company announced that when it happens, the two will be able to interact with each other via their built-in Bluetooth tech. This, in turn, allows for a two-player experience if you have both.
The LEGO Group says that this two-player mode will allow players to either work together or against each other. The former involves some coordinated actions like jumping and flipping in sync. As for the latter, players compete with each other to get the most virtual coins. The company also has an accompanying video showcasing this, which can get confusing as the two players switch between competitive and co-op modes abruptly.
Beyond that, the LEGO Super Mario series is also getting a new set in the form of Bowser’s Airship. The owner of the airship is not here, but instead the set comes with a Kamek, a Goomba and a Rocky Wrench.
As announced before, LEGO Luigi will be out on 1 August for RM259.90. Bowser’s Airship will also be available on this date for RM499.90. Other new items in the series will also be released, ranging from RM49.90 power-up packs to the RM329.90 Reznor Knockdown expansion set. The new items have not been listed yet, but you can pre-order the Adventures with Luigi Starter Course via Brick Magic, Box of Bricks, LEGOLAND, Toys ‘R’ Us, or the official LEGO Store on Lazada and Shopee.
