Maybank has announced via its website and social media channels that its online services, as well as on-location machines will undergo maintenance this Saturday on 19 June 2021. The services are scheduled to resume or begin much later in the morning on the same day, it added.
The bank noted that its online services will be unavailable to users starting from 3:30am on that date, and maintenance is expected to last until 10am. This includes all Maybank2U and Mobile Banking services via its website and mobile applications, so keep that in mind if you’re planning to do any online shopping or transfers on that day.
As mentioned earlier, on-location Maybank machines such as its ATMs and Self Service Terminals (SSTs) will also undergo scheduled system maintenance. This is expected to last until 10am, therefore delaying the machines’ usual availability which starts at 6am every day.

Well, the bright side being that there are no known flash sales or promotions expected to happen this Saturday. In that regard, there were two past instances where Maybank (and other banks) scheduled their system maintenance to conclude a wee bit close to the start of two major promotions such as last year’s 10.10 and 12.12 online sales.
Nevertheless, make sure to conduct your transfers, online purchases, or cash withdrawals hours prior to the scheduled maintenance if you’re a Maybank user. Having an eWallet is also handy for situations like these as well, provided that you have enough credit on it for your purchases.
