Foodpanda currently appears to be experiencing some kind of difficulty with its payment system on both of its web and mobile platforms. Since this morning, users of the food delivery service have been complaining directly to the company via social media regarding issues ranging from failed payments, to the inability to select any online payment method upon checkout.
Testing this out for ourselves, reaching the checkout page will only display cash-on-delivery (COD) as the sole payment option available to users on both of its app and web platforms – true to what was described by customers earlier. In another attempt, the web version of the service failed to load any payment options on the same page, therefore disabling users from paying for their orders altogether.

We’ve reached out to the food delivery service for further information on what may be causing this inconvenience, and have requested if they could provide an expected timeframe for resolving the issue. We will update this article accordingly once we’ve received a reply.
At the time of writing, Foodpanda has yet to officially acknowledge the issue on its platforms or social media channels. Addressing the issue is indeed the best course of action, but not acknowledging or publicly informing regarding an ongoing problem will only cause more inconveniences, especially to customers.
