The upcoming Sony WF-1000XM4 has had a stream of leaks lately. From a Dutch promo video that escaped to its price in Slovakia. But the company has finally decided on an official reveal date for the pair of TWS buds.
On its official YouTube channel, Sony has scheduled a stream to start on midnight local time of 9 June 2021. The WF-1000XM4 is not directly mentioned, but it’s got all the audio buzzwords fit for the TWS buds.
Most of what there is to know about the Sony WF-1000XM4 has already been revealed by the various leaks prior. Some highlights include the IPX4 rating, and a battery life of up to eight hours with the case providing another 24. There’s also support for wireless charging.

It will also have the Adaptive Sound Control tech, and even the Speak-to-Chat feature from the WH-1000XM4 headphones. There’s even a bone conduction sensor for its microphone. Overall, the WF-1000XM4 is pretty feature rich.
Naturally, we’ll have to wait after the announcement is over before we know when they will make their way to our shores. And then we’ll know what they cost officially. Hopefully things aren’t as crazy as the leaked price suggest.
