As the supposed launch date of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3070 Ti looms ever closer, the cards’ parent company seems to have taken the first step and recently released a new teaser clip on its official Twitter account, in order to build up the hype.
The teaser video is only 11 seconds long and, like previous teaser clips released by the GPU maker, is devoid of any actual details, save for two points at the end: a date and the streaming platforms fans can watch the official announcement.
As for the 31 May (1 June for us), that’s the first day of Computex 2021, which isn’t all that surprising, considering NVIDIA is one of the event’s major contributors and showrunners.

Regarding hardware specifications, earlier rumours and leaks have led many of us to believe that both the RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3070 Ti will ship out with 12GB and 8GB of GDDR6X graphics memory, respectively. In regards to the RTX 3080 Ti, the card had already been leaked, in one form or another. The latest leak being the GPU in MSI’s SUPRIM X apparel being sold openly in Dubai, well before its supposed June availability.
