Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout was first released on August of 2020. It was a breakout hit on both the PS4 and Steam. The company behind the game even got acquired by Epic Games back in March. Now, finally, with the latest update, the game gets cross-platform play.
The announcement came via a long string of tweets by the official Fall Guys Twitter account. Through it, the devs of the game explains that players will now be able to matchmake together in all game modes. One caveat is that cross-platform parties are not available yet. In other words, you can’t team up with your friends on a different platform, but you can still compete against them.
FEATURES
🔥 55 Additional Variations across 12 rounds! 🔥
🔥 Custom Lobbies are now open to EVERYONE with as few as 4 beans! PC and PS4 players can play together!

Of course, the latest Fall Guys update adds more than just a single feature. With the update, the game adds two new rounds, called Slimescraper and Button Bashers. Then there’s 55 additional variations across 12 rounds.
The long string of tweets also explains the may bug fixes and QoL improvements that come along with the Fall Guys Season 4.5 update. Among them are improved latency, an in-game connection quality indicator, and various UI and visual fixes.
