First released in 2006, Roblox has a huge following throughout the world with more than 32 million people playing the game on a daily basis. For local fans of the game, you now have a new way to pay for Roblox’s in-game currency Robux or the game’s Premium subscription.
Instead of relying on credit cards or intermediates to purchase the Roblox Gift Card from other countries such as the United States, the card is now available in our market with Ringgit Malaysia as its currency. For now, its on-ground availability seems to be rather unclear since the card’s availability in our market has yet to be announced by either Roblox or 7-Eleven Malaysia.
We were first made aware of its existence through an anonymous tip who had discovered it at a nearby 7-Eleven although the tip didn’t provide the actual location of the said store. Nevertheless, we hopped around 7-Eleven branches throughout Subang Jaya and only found it at the branch in USJ 9 after going through seven different locations.
Yes, the irony was not lost on us.
As you can see above, the card can be obtained with either RM 50 or RM 125 credit. Prior to Roblox, 7-Eleven Malaysia are already offering gift cards for other platforms including Netflix, Google Play, PlayStation Network, Spotify, and JOOX as well as Starbucks and Zalora.
(Thanks for the tips, anon!)
