Japan is currently in its Golden Week, a seven-day period with four public holidays. And Steam is celebrating with a sale that coincides with the week. Sticking with the theme, pretty much all of the games on sale are Japanese in origin.
If there is a long-running Japanese game series that you’ve been wanting to try out, now’s probably the best time to do so. For example. You can get the very new Yakuza: Like a Dragon for 30% cheaper. Or if you want to go further back into the series, you can get Yakuza Kiwami with a 50% discount. Get the bundle that has Yakuza 0, Kiwami and Kiwami 2, and the discount goes to 61%.
Other games made by Japanese studios like Death Stranding and Ace Combat 7 have 60% and 75% discounts respectively. NieR:Automata has a 50% discount to it, but the Replicant remake doesn’t yet have a discount. Not surprising, considering that it’s not even a month old.
You can check out the rest of the list of games on sale by following the link below. The Steam Golden Week sale will last one day longer than the week itself, it will be running until 6 May 2021. That should be enough time to check out the extremely long list of games currently on discount.
