Dell has recently rolled out the new Inspiron 14 and Inspiron 15 variants into Malaysia. While the company has already been offering Inspiron laptops with 11th Gen Intel Core processors back in November 2020, the new additions are equipped with the performance-oriented 11th Gen Intel Core H35 Series chips instead.
As noted in our report back in January, the Core H35 Series processors are part of the performance-oriented Core H-Series family of processors. However, they are designed for a specific type of gaming laptops that Intel refers to as the ultraportables which are slightly more compact than your usual gaming laptop.
Hence, it is not surprising that the TDP range of Core H35 Series chips is much lower at 28W to 35W as compared to the usual H-Series processors that usually goes around 35W to 45W. That being said though, the Inspiron 14 and Inspiron 15 are not really gaming laptops though despite having the Core H35 processors.
Back to the laptop themselves, the Inspiron 14 (5410) carries a 14-inch Full HD display while the Inspiron 15 (5510) has a larger 15.6-inch Full HD display. Other than that, their hardware is quite identical with 8GB of RAM and 4-cell 54WHr battery as standard alongside up to 512GB solid state drive.
Both models also come with the ExpressCharge feature which allows these Inspiron laptops to get back up to 80% of their battery capacities within an hour. Customers can choose to fit their Inspiron 14 and Inspiron 15 with up to Core i7-11370H and NVIDIA GeForce MX 450 graphics.
Price-wise, the Inspiron 14 starts at RM 3,499 although Dell Malaysia is currently offering discounts for the model which reduces it to RM 3,199. Similarly, the standard starting price of Inspiron 15 is RM 3,399 but you can get it now from RM 3,099 onwards.
