The plot of Resident Evil Village was already leaked before, but it looks like there may be another round of that. This time, it’s not because another dev build of the game leaked. Instead, it’s because physical copies of the game have already found their way into people’s hands.
Twitter user @Kaiser499 shared a shot of a physical copy of Resident Evil Village. And it comes complete with the Australian rating of R18+. In a separate post, they shared what the back of the box looks like as well.
27.37GB

No update, yet.

And it looks like they went ahead and installed the game on their PS5 as well, as a follow-up tweet that says that the game takes up 27.37GB without updates. The back of the box did say that the game needs 30GB minimum, so it will likely be around that once the day-one patch gets released.
But at any rate, if you’re worried about spoilers for Resident Evil Village, consider yourselves warned. Maybe set some filters on your social media, or stay off them completely for the time being. The game isn’t set to be actually released until 7 May, and that’s a little over two weeks away.
