Sony Interactive Entertainment announced back in February that Days Gone will be heading to PC in spring. The company has now announced that it will be available on both Steam and the Epic Games Store. And there’s an exact release date to go with it as well.
SIE also released a PC features trailer that details not only the date, but the extra features promised for the Days Gone PC port. This includes the likes of ultra wide screen support, uncapped frame rates, and a super resolution photo mode. Then there’s the expected graphics customisation, mouse and keyboard support, and support for first- and third-party controllers.
Of course, it remains to be seen if the game will be in its best condition when it launches on PC. Horizon Zero Dawn came to PC in August last year, but with loads of issues tagging along. Hopefully Days Gone will provide a better experience right off the bat, rather than a few months down the line.
At any rate, Days Gone for PC will be available on both Steam and EGS on 18 May 2021. You can find links to their respective store pages, as well as the official announcement post by SIE, linked below.
