We seem to be doing this once a month now. Sony Malaysia has posted on its Facebook page that it is opening up another batch of PS5 pre-orders. And it opens up on16 April 2021, at 12:01AM. Which probably means another night of staying up late for those who weren’t lucky the past couple of batches.
Things remain largely the same for the fifth PS5 per-order batch as it did previously. Though the messaging is quite a bit clearer this time around. To put it simply, Sony Malaysia is doing its PS5 pre-order via its official Lazada store only.
All other rules and conditions remain unchanged. Each customer can only buy one PS5, and each console and accessories are on a first come, first served basis. As you can imagine, the pre-orders only start to open while stocks last. And it’s unlikely to last long considering the shortage we’ve been seeing for the past few months.
No change as far as the official prices are concerned. The standard PS5 comes with a RM2299 price tag, while the digital edition costs RM1849. Though it’s odd that the latter isn’t available this time around for pre-order. All the best for those who will be trying their luck this time around.
