If you wanted to get a Nintendo Switch Lite, but held off because it didn’t come in the right colour, maybe this next one is for you. The company has announced a new blue colour for the handheld. And it will be releasing on the same day as a game for the platform.
More specifically, this blue Nintendo Switch Lite will be released on 21 May, which is the same day as the release date of Miitopia. It’s technically an old 3DS game, but it’s getting a remaster for the new platform. There are also some new features thrown in, but it’s otherwise the same game.

While a blue colour for the Switch Lite is nice, it’s basically just a darker shade of the existing Turquoise colour. Unless you’re really particular about the colours, chances are you would’ve already settled for that. But if you haven’t then you’ll have this to look forward to.
Of course, it’s worth reminding that this is the Nintendo Switch Lite. Which means no docking to a TV and detachable Joy-Cons, even though you can still pair the regular Joy-Cons with it. The new colour doesn’t come with a price hike, maintaining its US$199.99 price. Which means you can likely get it here for RM949.
