Well, that didn’t take long. Just several hours after Siri eagerly spilled the beans, Apple has decided to officially unveil its upcoming occasion. Happening next week on 20 April will be the company’s Spring Loaded event, which has been added to the Events landing page on its official website. Visiting this page on an iPhone or iPad, by the way, will load up an augmented reality (AR) gimmick for your amusement.
Representing the event is a multi-coloured doodle of the Apple logo, which may suggest the involvement of the company’s Pencil accessory, or maybe a new iteration of it. The name Spring Loaded, besides being a play of words on the current season, could also imply some sort of mechanism or feature. A new iPad with an integrated stylus accessory ala the Samsung Galaxy Note perhaps?
But don’t take our word for it, as these are just mere (but wild) speculations of what Apple may have in store next week. As of this moment, the company has yet to reveal what is to be expected from the event.
Previous reports suggest that Apple is gearing up to unveil new iPads, including new Pro and mini models – with some sources such as Bloomberg believing that the former will be the first device from the company to feature Mini LED displays. Also not forgetting the Apple AirTags that has been circulating in the rumour mill since last year.

Back to the event itself, MacRumors revealed that Spring Loaded will be digital only and will be live streamed via the Apple TV app, as well as on the aforementioned events page. As mentioned earlier, the event will take place on 20 April at 10am PDT (21 April at 1am, local time).
