Maybank has announced a scheduled system downtime that will take place over the weekend. This will affect a wide range of services, from ATMs to online services like Maybank2u and the MAE app.
That being said, most of the scheduled downtime for these services will only be during the very early and very late hours of Saturday, 3 April. More specifically, the MAE app and services related to Maybank2u including the app will be down from 12AM to 3AM. A slightly wider range of services will be down between 11:30PM and 11:59PM of the same day. These range from ATM and debit card transactions to the QRPay app.
That being said, if you’re into stock trading, then you’ll likely not be able to do anything over the weekend. The Maybank2u Online Stocks and Maybank Trade services will be down from 7AM, 3 April to 8PM, 4 April.
In its announcement page, Maybank suggests performing your transactions in advance. This will be especially true for those who are into trading, but not so much for users of the other services.
