Sony Interactive Entertainment is a little late for our list of free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers this month. But we have the list now regardless, and it’s quite the middling list for April.
Headlining the PS Plus free games list this month is Days Gone. It’s a PlayStation exclusive, and it sold relatively well. But it’s story was not a strong point. And while the zombie horde gameplay is interesting, most other parts had their own issues. The other game is X-Morph: Defense, which is an interesting mix of top-down shooter and tower defense.
[Malaysia and Indonesia only]
It is Freaker killing season this April as Days Gone, X-Morph: Defense, Oddworld: Soulstorm (PS5) and LEGO Worlds are free for all PS Plus members starting 6 April! pic.twitter.com/X0Zn6S4Mbc— PlayStation Asia (@PlayStationAsia) April 1, 2021
For the PlayStation 5, the free game of April is Oddworld: Soulstorm. It’s the remake of the second game of the Oddworld series, and is a 2.5D platformer. And for the last entry in the list this month, it’s LEGO Worlds. This is special because it’s only free for PS Plus subscribers in Malaysia and Indonesia.
You can’t get these games just yet though. This is because last month’s games are still up for grabs, and will remain so until 5 April. So be sure to get them before they go away. As for April’s list, they will be available for download on 6 April instead.
