Right after its global unveiling, ASUS has revealed the pre-order and pricing details for the new ROG Phone 5 in Malaysia. If you are shocked to see if its European pricing during the global announcement, don’t be worried though as the price tag for the new gaming phone in Malaysia is much lower.
According to ASUS, the ROG Phone 5 with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage will be made available in Malaysia this coming April for RM 2,999. Interesting enough, the company will not be offering the 12GB/256 variant in our market but goes straight to the 16GB/256GB setup which can be obtained in the same month for RM 3,799.
Meanwhile, those who are aiming for the ROG Phone 5 Pro which comes with a 16GB/512GB setup can obtain it in May for RM 4,499. As for the ROG Phone 5 Ultimate, it will be released in the same month as well with a price tag of RM 4,999.
Customers that pre-ordered the ROG Phone 5 starting from tomorrow at these participating ROG dealers will be receiving a free ROG Kunai 3 Gamepad alongside their new gaming phone. Do note that the standard variant of ROG Phone 5 that will be released in April does not come with AeroActive 5 cooler in which gamers need to obtain separately for RM 149.
