They may have first established themselves as smartphone brands but Xiaomi and realme are also fierce rivals in the wearable market. It is not known whether this is a mere coincidence or otherwise but both companies have recently released new sport watches that look almost identical to each other.
This is mainly because both Xiaomi Mi Watch and realme Watch S Pro feature round watch cases with similar screen size. However, they have chosen different types of construction material for both of them.
While both Mi Watch and Watch S Pro do come standard with built-in GPS as well as heart rate and blood oxygen sensors, the number of workouts that they can track are different from each other. When it comes to battery life, Xiaomi and realme also claim that their new sports watch can last for at least two weeks.
Not surprisingly, they also have different price tags too since in Malaysia, the Mi Watch goes for RM 469 while the realme Watch S Pro is listed at RM 599. For more, do check out the new Lowyat TV’s episode above to get a quick outlook on the two latest GPS sports watch in our market.
