During the CES 2021 earlier this week, the laptop industry has received two new high-performance hardware which includes the 11th Gen Intel Core H35-series processor and the mobile iteration of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30-series graphics. Naturally, OEMs have immediately adopted these new chips into their products including Acer who has unveiled the Predator Triton 300 SE.
As opposed to the original Triton 300, the SE (which stands for Special Edition) variant doesn’t come with aggressive designs that is usually associated with gaming laptops. Instead, the Triton 300 SE features a more professional-looking exterior.
In a way, this model could be the answer for those out there that are looking to have a gaming laptop that delivers the performance they need in their games while not having it to look awkward in a corporate office or classroom. Be warned though: Acer did retain the RGB backlit keyboard for the Triton 300 SE which is among the most universally known sign of a gaming laptop.
The new gaming laptop will begin its global rollout starting from this coming February onwards but there is no exact release date or pricing for the Triton 300 SE in Malaysia. In the meantime, do check out the LYTV episode above to have a closer look at the new sleeper beast.
