Foodpanda has updated its operating hours for different Malaysian states in light of the recent implementations of MCO, CMCO and RMCO. The food delivery company revealed that its daily service may end at earliest 8pm for MCO designated locations, while it may operate as usual until 12 am for RMCO areas.
For locations such as KL, Selangor, Putrajaya and Cyberjaya, Foodpanda will begin operations at 7am and end at 8pm, with last orders taken half hour prior. Meanwhile, its service in MCO designated locations such as Johor, Sabah, Melaka, Pahang and Penang also ends at the same time, but would start later at 8am instead.
CMCO and RMCO designated states such as Kedah, Kelantan, Negeri Sembilan, Perak, Perlis, and Terengganu will see Foodpanda operating as per usual – starting at 8am and ending at 12am daily. The company noted that in Sarawak, on the other hand, its delivery service will end at 10pm.
As mentioned by senior minister Ismail Sabri on Monday, those located in areas under the implementation of MCO are advised to utilise delivery, drive-thru or self-pickup services for meals during this two-week period. The same can be applied for purchasing groceries and essentials as well.
