Local e-wallet outfit Boost has announced that consumers are now able to purchase Google Play credit directly through its app. This was made possible through a partnership with the global payment technology company, InComm Payments.
With Boost, users no longer need to physically visit any outlets to replenish their Google Play credit. At the same time, Boost can also act as an alternative method for those who are not fond of paying for the Google Play credit through credit or debit cards and telco billing.
Prior to this, Google Play credit can be purchased at 7-Eleven, 99Speedmart, and All IT Hypermarkets outlets in the form of physical gift cards but the denominations are limited to RM 50, RM 100, and RM 200. For lower denominations such as RM 10 and RM 20, they have to obtain it through over-the-counter payment at 7-Eleven.
Boost users can purchase the Google Play credit through the Game Credits category within the Games section of the Do More tab. Aside from Google Play, one can also utilise the e-wallet to obtain other digital services too including PlayStation Network, Razer Gold, Steam Wallet. Garena Shells, NJOI Prepaid, Viu, and many more.
