If you’ve been paying attention to the situation around Cyberpunk 2077, you’ll know that it’s a buggy mess. Even on the most powerful of gaming PCs, the game runs with invisible guns or NPCs circling around with broken pathing. Things are even worse on the last-gen consoles, specifically the base PS4 and Xbox One.
And finally, CD Projekt Red has a response to all the backlash. On Twitter, the official Cyberpunk 2077 account tweeted the company’s statement. A part of it says that the company will be pushing out updates to fix the experience on the first batch of last-gen consoles. This will continue well until February of next year.

But if you’re not willing to wait that long, then you can file for a refund. If you bought a digital copy of the game, then you can get the refund through PSN or Xbox Live. If you’ve got a physical copy, CDPR says get it from the store you bought it from, but the option to send the company an email remains open if that fails.
Credit where it’s due, it’s very brave and honest of CDPR to make this announcement. But on the other hand, it’s quite unbelievable that Cyberpunk 2077 would be released in such a state to begin with.
