If earlier rumours are accurate, Samsung may be debuting the latest entry to its S series flagship smartphones in January. To further back up the possibility of its early 2021 launch, a live photo of what appears to be two Samsung Galaxy S21 models have recently appeared online.
The image was shared by YouTuber Sakitech, although he did not reveal if it was his own or sourced from a different party. As mentioned earlier, the photo allegedly depicts the Ultra and Plus variants of the Galaxy S21 placed side by side. Both of these feature the new top left corner camera placement which was suggested over a leak by Steve Hemmerstoffer (aka OnLeaks) back in October.

According to the YouTuber, the Galaxy S21 is equipped with a quad camera setup consisting of a 108MP main, 12MP ultra-wide, 10MP periscope camera with 10X zoom, and a 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom. Leakster Ice Universe claims that the revealed sensors are correct and added that the camera array also includes a LaserAF module, LED flash and a microphone.
Meanwhile, the Plus variant is said to feature a 12MP main, 12MP ultra-wide, and a 64MP telephoto – although its zooming capabilities were not mentioned. Sakitech added that the regular S21 may feature the same camera specifications as the Galaxy S21 Plus model.

Hardware specs such as the chipset, RAM and storage configurations or battery size were not mentioned in the video. XDA’s Max Weinbach suggested that the new smartphone series may feature either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset or Samsung’s own Exynos 2100. Another leak revealed that the Galaxy S21 may also include support for the S-Pen accessory, which were usually exclusive to the brand’s Note flagships.
As with other sources prior to this, Sakitech mentions that the Samsung Galaxy S21 series is expected to debut on or around 14 January 2021. At this rate, only time will tell whether or not the leaks of the unannounced flagship smartphones are accurate.
