The Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) in the affected areas was supposed to end tomorrow, on 6 December. But it looks like it will be extended to 20 December for many of the areas. The announcement came via the Malaysian Ministry of Defence’s official Twitter account.
To break it down, the CMCO for Sabah, Selangor and Kuala Lumpur will be extended to 20 December as mentioned. That being said, certain areas in Selangor have been exempt from this extension. Specifically, they are the districts of Sabak Bernam, Hulu Selangor And Kuala Selangor. Oddly enough, Putrajaya will also return to RMCO status, despite being immediate neighbours.
