After months of rumours, NVIDIA has finally made this card official. Following the release of GeForce RTX 3090, RTX 3080, and RTX 3070 earlier in the year, the family has now been expanded further through the addition of GeForce RTX 3060 Ti into the mix.
According to NVIDIA, the new card will be released simultaneously throughout the world including Malaysia on 2 December although you may want to contact your favourite retailer for actual in-store availability. As for the Malaysian pricing, the chip company informed us that the RTX 3060 Ti will start from RM 1880 although its website still showed RM 1800 at the time this article was published.
As you might be able to guess from its moniker, the RTX 3060 Ti is the most junior family member of the series at the moment. Despite that, the new card still packs plenty of punch as NVIDIA claimed that the graphics card can deliver more performance than the older RTX 2080 Super.
Based on our own experience, that is indeed the case for most of the test that we put it through. In general, the RTX 3060 Ti provides a more affordable pathway to 1440p gaming, so do check out our full review of the RTX 360 Ti Founders Edition right here to learn more.
