We already heard in October that Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed to 10 December. We’ve already seen physical copies for the PS4 too, which tells us it takes up 70GB of storage space. But it looks like someone went the extra step and streamed the early bits of the game online.
A thread in ResetEra linked what was supposed to be the video in question. The video itself has since been turned private. But PC Gamer caught the video while it was still up, and reports that it’s a 1080p footage from a PS4 Pro. It details some of the Cyberpunk 2077 Nomad prologue, which you should be familiar with if you watched the earlier Night City Wire entries.
That being said, it’s probably for the better that the video has been taken down. For one, it’s definitely spoiler territory. But even for those among us who enjoy spoilers, it’s not a good experience either. PC Gamer reports that the Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay vid involves a lot of unnecessary commentary by “stoned bros”. Kind of like that annoying family member that does live commentary while a series is playing on TV, trying to predict the next plot twist.
So if anything, this is your spoiler warning for Cyberpunk 2077. If you’re the type who would rather avoid them, then be aware that they are out in the wild already. So tread carefully while you’re on the web.
