Marking the first batch of 11th Gen Intel Core laptops from the company, Acer today has announced that its new Swift 3X is now available in Malaysia. At the same time, the company has also released the 2020’s iteration of Aspire 5 laptops which now features the Tiger Lake chips into our market.
As you may have heard before, the Swift 3X is the first laptop to be officially announced with Intel Iris Xe Max Graphics. While it may be a discrete graphics processor, the Iris Xe Max is primarily meant to be a more powerful alternative to integrated graphics and previous generation entry-level discrete graphics such as NVIDIA GeForce MX350.
The Swift 3X also comes standard with a 14-inch Full HD IPS display and 512GB PCIe NVMe solid state drive as standard. Pricewise, the variant with Intel Core i5-1135G7 and 8GB LPDDR4X RAM goes for RM 3799 while the more premium setup with Intel Core i7-1165G7 and 16GB RAM is listed at RM 4599.
As for the Aspire 5 Series which is one of the company’s mainstream laptop line-up, it can be obtained with either 14 or 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display. Regardless of the screen size, the Aspire 5 Series comes with 512GB PCIe NVMe SSD alongside 4GB of RAM which is soldered directly into the laptop but users can still install up to 16GB of additional RAM.
Depending on respective specs, customers can opt to have NVIDIA GeForce MX350 graphics inside their new Aspire 5. With a starting price of RM 2799, the laptop can be obtained in six different variants as listed below:
In terms of availability, both the Swift 3X and 2020 Aspire 5 Series laptops are now readily available from all Acer authorised online stores and resellers throughout Malaysia.
