Despite the number of tie-ins related to Cyberpunk 2077 being announced, the game itself has been delayed to 10 December. But it looks like things could always get worse. New rumours are circulating online about the game getting pushed back again, and possibly to 2021.
Twitter account Tiffany Treadmore looks to be the source of the new rumour. GameRant credits the account as accurately calling the cancellation of E3 this year, and the existence of Half-Life: Alyx before Valve announced it. Which does give these claims of another Cyberpunk 2077 delay more weight.

CD Projekt Red has not responded to the rumours just yet. But this doesn’t bode well for the game if the rumour is true. Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed three times now. Not to mention the crunch kerfuffle before the previous delay, which the devs claimed had to happen because further delays were not possible.
At any rate, the devs have already backed their own game into a corner now. Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most highly anticipated games of the year, and one can only imagine the reaction of impatient fans if the game does end up getting pushed to next year.
