As you might have heard, the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro Series pre-order has begun in Malaysia at 9:00 PM. Aside from Apple Malaysia’s own website and Apple Authorised resellers, eager fans can also pre-order the new iPhone models from one of the four main telcos in Malaysia including Celcom.
In case you missed the initial announcement, Apple no longer provides chargers for the iPhone moving forward and looks like Celcom has taken advantage of the situation by offering free Apple 20W USB-C power adapter for pre-order customers. However, this offer is limited for the first 1000 pre-order customers.
Through the telco’s Easyphone instalment program, customers can obtain the iPhone 12 for as low as RM 99 per month while iPhone 12 mini’s monthly fee starts at RM 110. As for iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max, their monthly instalment fee starts from RM 129 and RM 203, respectively.
However, do note that Celcom’s contract duration for iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro can go up to 30 months while being limited to the MEGA Lightning XL plan. On another hand, customers are free to choose any of the MEGA Lightning or Unlimited options for the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max which are tied to the standard 24-months period.
For those who prefer to pay for their phone outright, they can take advantage of discounted phone prices from Celcom by signing for the MEGA Lightning plan although they will be tied to the telco for 24 months.
Through this route, they can obtain the iPhone 12 from RM 2188 onwards while the starting price for iPhone 12 mini, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max will be reduced to RM 1738, RM 3098, and RM 3458, respectively.
Aside from stand-alone packages for iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro Series, customers can also choose to obtain combo bundles by adding Apple Watch SE or AirPods Pro into their pre-orders.
All the things we mentioned above is just a gist of what Celcom has put on the table for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Series pre-order though. So, do head on directly to Celcom’s official website for in-depth details.
