Honor recently debuted its latest smartphone, the Honor 10X Lite, in Saudi Arabia and at the same time confirmed that a global launch will happen next week on 10 November. The phone offers mid-range specifications and is expected to cost sub-RM1000 in price.
The Honor 10X Lite features a 6.67-inch Full HD Plus LCD display, with a top-centered punch hole cutout which houses a 8MP selfie camera. Powering the phone is a Kirin 710 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and an internal storage capacity of 128GB. It is equipped with a large 5,000mAh battery, which supports 22.5W fast charging via USB-C.
As for photography, the 10X Lite comes with a quad camera setup on its back which is arranged vertically in a camera island. The setup consists of a 48MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor.
Other than that, also onboard is a side-mounted fingerprint reader, NFC support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom of the phone. The new Honor smartphone runs on the brand’s Android 10-based Magic UI 3.1 system and Huawei Mobile Services (HMS).
As mentioned earlier, the global launch for the Honor 10X Lite will be held on 10 November 2020 at 2pm CET (9pm local time). Its availability in Malaysia has not been confirmed just yet.
