UPDATE (11:44 PM):
After more than 12 hours since we published our report, we jumped back into the fray to check Celcom has provided any updates to its customers. As it turned out, the telco still didn’t put up any notice regarding the disruption on its Twitter or Facebook page.
However, Celcom did quietly updated the service disruption notice on its website which has now claimed that the issue has been rectified at 11:25 AM.
Despite that, there were plenty of complaints coming from Celcom’s customers on Facebook and Twitter throughout the day, even as we update this report. Without any official explanations from the telco itself though, it is hard to tell whether Celcom really managed to overcome the issue or is battling other undisclosed disruptions behind the scene.
