Back in October, OnePlus announced that there will be a Cyberpunk 2077 edition of the 8T phone. A couple of weeks later, the company teased a little of what the phone will look like. And now, two days earlier than the initial date, the phone has been officially unveiled.
As we’ve seen before, the OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk Edition has a custom back panel to fit the massive camera island. The camera layout itself is not changed. There’s the clear Cyberpunk branding, and the accompanying yellow accents, but the phone as a whole is grey. And even on the software side, the phone gets a Cyberpunk-themed version of the HydrogenOS.
That being said, just like the camera position, the OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk Edition hasn’t changed much on the inside. This means the phone has the same 6.55-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset, and a 4500mAh battery. The cameras are also the same, being a 48MP main camera, a 16MP wide angle camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.
What little difference in specs found in the OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition is its RAM and storage configuration. The phone launched in China with a 12G + 256GB configuration, and for the price of CNY3999 (~RM2483). No word on when, or if, the phone will make it out of the country, and to our shores.
