Pos Malaysia has announced that its Integrated Parcel Centre (IPC) in KLIA is closed until further notice. The postal service stated that the decision was made in order to carry out precautionary measures due to the impact of the Kaya Cluster in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan and Putrajaya.
The announcement was shared to the public on 25 October 2020 via Pos Malaysia’s social media channels including Facebook and Twitter. At the same time, the company also informed customers to expect delays in parcel deliveries, especially to and from East Malaysia due to the temporary closure.

Additionally, Pos Malaysia revealed that a mitigation plan has been set in place for operations to run as normal during the duration. The service is ensuring customers that all items will still be processed and delivered as soon as possible, despite the aforementioned possibilities of delays.
As mentioned earlier, it is uncertain when its IPC operations in KLIA will resume as per usual at this current time. Further announcements are expected to be made in the near future from Pos Malaysia’s official website, Facebook page and Twitter account.
