Lenovo has introduced its toughest and lightest laptop yet with the new Yoga Slim 7i Carbon. The laptop weighs at only 966g, and underneath its premium Moon White finish are multiple layers of proprietary second generation Web-Core 2.0 Carbon Fiber which meets MIL-STD-810G standards.
The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Carbon packs a 13.3-inch anti-glare display with thin bezels, which offers 91% of screen to body ratio, offers 100% sRGB, and Dolby Vision enhancements. Hardware-wise, the Intel Evo verified laptop features a choice of either an 11th Gen Intel Core i5 or Core i7 processor, Intel Iris X graphics, up to 16GB RAM, and up to 1TB of internal storage. For audio, it includes two 2W stereo speakers that are powered by Dolby Atmos.
Other than that, the laptop is equipped with a 50Wh battery, which Lenovo claims is capable of lasting up to 15 hours on a full charge. It also includes fast charging capability, enabling it to top up 2 hours worth of battery in just 15 minutes. In addition, the company ensures the battery is able to retain up to 80% charge after 800 cycles.
Lenovo also introduced several smart technologies with the Yoga Slim 7i, such as Flip-To-Boot, IR Camera, Q-Control Intelligent Cooling Mode, and Glance by Mirametrix. Connectivity-wise, the laptop features three USB-C ports with Power Delivery, DisplayPort, and Thunderbolt 4.0 support.
The new Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i is expected to arrive in Malaysia sometime by the end of October 2020. It will be available with a starting price of RM4,399.
