If you like horror games, then you’ve probably heard of the games Sara Is Missing and the Simulacra series. These are developed by a Malaysian studio called Kaigan Games, and the studio is now working on a Doctor Who mobile game. It’s called Doctor Who: The Lonely Assassins.
In the studio’s usual style, Doctor Who: The Lonely Assassins will be a game of the “found phone” kind. It involves the Wester Drumlins “uninhabited home” that fans will be familiar with. To get the truth behind a “sinister series of events” taking place there, players will be working with Petronella Osgood and other characters.
But that’s not the only game based on the show that the BBC announced. There’s also Doctor Who: The Edge Of Reality, a VR title that’s the sequel to last year’s The Edge Of Time. In this, you’ll be joined by the 10th Doctor, in addition to the 13th Doctor returning.
Both of these games will be released sometime in Spring 2021. The Lonely Assassins will be available on Android, iOS, and even the Nintendo Switch. On the other hand, The Edge Of Reality will be available on PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One.
