Razer today has announced two new BlackWidow V3 keyboards which consist of a standard model and a Tenkeyless variant. The gaming firm previously introduced the V3 Pro, a wireless version of the series, back in September of this year.
The new Razer BlackWidow V3 features a slew of improvements, including a choice of either the brand’s Green Mechanical Switches or the smooth yet silent Yellow Switches. The keyboard comes with Doubleshot ABS keycaps which are extra durable and features molded letters rather than printed lettering. Build-wise, the V3 features an improved aluminium chassis with built-in cable routing options.
As with most of the brand’s products, the new keyboard will come with Chroma RGB lighting and its ecosystem that supports over 150 games. New to the BlackWidow V3 is the new Multi-function Digital Roller with media key-set, which can be used for controlling volume or playback and further customised via the proprietary Razer Synapse 3 app. Lastly, an ergonomic wrist rest is also included as part of the product’s package.
The BlackWidow V3 Tenkeyless is pretty self-explanatory. For those unfamiliar, tenkeyless keyboards do not include the number pad as part of its build. In this device’s case, it is basically the same keyboard as the BlackWidow V3 but sans the Multi-function Digital Roller, the aforementioned number pad, and wrist rest.
Both models of the keyboards are now available in Malaysia via the brand’s official website. The standard Razer BlackWidow V3 is retailing at RM699, while the BlackWidow V3 Tenkeyless is at RM490.
