YouTube Music has announced that the Explore tab section will now see a new addition in the form of Charts. By adding this feature, users will now be able to browse global songs, music videos, artists, and trending content from over 57 individual countries.
The Explore tab on YouTube Music was first introduced to help users discover new albums, singles, music videos and playlists via the Moods and Genres section within the app. Similarly, with the new global Charts addition, there will be five different categories added for users to explore including Top Songs, Top music videos, Top artists, Genres and Trending.
The list mentioned above will allow YouTube Music to provide its users with popular songs that are currently trending from around the world. This means users will be able to shift between various locations in order to explore music and other relevant content that is currently trending in a specific country.
At the time of writing, the YouTube Music Charts feature has already been rolled out for Android and iOS devices. However, if you do not have the app installed in your device, this feature is also readily available on the web version.
