Min-Liang Tan, founder and CEO of Razer, has announced the Razer Card, the brand’s new prepaid card made in partnership with Visa. As per the official product page, the card is the brand’s first prepaid card that offers owners cashback with every transaction conducted through it.
Getting back to the cashback system and with Visa backing it up, Razer says that consumers of the card will get a 1% cashback with every purchase made with the card. In addition, consumers will also get up to 5% cashback RazerStore and Razer Gold purchases, and up to 10% cashback during its beta.

From the looks of it, Razer’s prepaid card comes in two variations. The first is a plain, all-black card, while the other is a premium version that features a Razer logo that lights up in the brand’s iconic green, whenever a payment is made.
In any case, Razer is currently looking for beta testers for the card. That said, there are a couple of caveats: firstly, the beta is limited to just 1337 users. Second, beta testing is currently limited to Singapore, and there’s no indication if and when the gaming brand intends to open up beta phases in other countries.
