NVIDIA Launches Jetson Nano 2GB Developer Kit; Retails At US$59

Earlier today during its GTC 2020 keynote, NVIDIA had a long list of products to announce for a variety of high-performance computing (HPC) sectors in the world. Among these products was the GPU brand’s latest SDK, the Jetson Nano 2GB Developer Kit.

Designed and built on NVIDIA’s stack, the SDK uses the same CUDA-X accelerated computing stack that has been used in self-driving cars, industrial-level IoT, and healthcare. Specs-wise, the kit is powered by a 128-core Maxwell GPU, a quad-core ARM A57 CPU running at 1.43GHz, and 2GB LPDDR4 RAM.

Additional specifications of the Jetson Nano 2GB include a 4K30fps video encorder, 4K60fps video decoder, one USB-A 3.0 port, two USB-A 2.0 ports, and a micro USB port. The tinker board also features a 40-pin header, one 12-pin header, and an additional 4-pin fan header.

NVIDIA’s Jetson Nano 2GB Developer kit is set to be available starting from the end of this month, and will retail for US$59 (~RM244). At the time of writing, there’s still no word about local availability.
