Samsung has officially launched its Galaxy Tab A7 in Malaysia. The tablet is the latest budget-friendly device to join the brand’s Tab A series and sports some meagre hardware underneath the hood.
To start, the Tab A7 variant we’re getting is the Wi-Fi variant. It’s display is a 10.4-inch IPS panel that has a resolution of 1200 x 1200 with a pixel density of 224 PPI. Beneath the hood, the Tab A7 sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC, 3GB RAM, and 32GB of expandable storage. Powering the components is a 7040mAh battery, while the OS is Android 10 with OneUI 2.1.
The main camera of Tab A7 is a single 8MP shooter, while the selfie camera around the front is a 5MP sensor. Sound is handled by four built-in speakers, situated on each side of the tablet. Charging and file transfer for the tablet is handled via USB-C and interestingly enough, it also has a built-in 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 is already available at all Samsung Galaxy Experience stores, and retails at RM999. In conjunction with its launch, Samsung is also running a promotion in collaboration with the e-library, SnapLearn, to provide consumers with a six-month complimentary subscription worth RM255. With every purchase of the tablet.
The promotion will run from today and end on 1 November 2020. In addition to the subscription, consumers will also be able to purchase a book cover at 20% off its original price with every purchase of the Galaxy Tab A7.
