Gigabyte Launches GeForce RTX 3090 Gaming OC and Eagle OC Graphics Cards; Starts From RM7799

In conjunction with the launch of NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 3090, Gigabyte has officially launched its own custom-cooled variants of the new powerhouse graphics cards. The lineup includes the Gaming OC and Eagle OC series.

Much like its interpretation of the GeForce RTX 3080, both the Gaming OC and Eagle OC follow the same design language for their respective cooling solution. You still get the triple-fan cooling solution for both variants, specifically the WINDFORCE 3X with an alternate spinning mode. Where the fan in the middle spins in the opposite direction.

As always, the cards are fitted with backplate, while a massive heatsink sits on top of the GPU core. On that note, the heatsink extends beyond the length of the PCB, with the end of it designed to let air flow through it for more efficient cooling.

Specs-wise, both the RTX 3090 Gaming OC and Eagle OC come with 24GB GDDR6X graphics memory running at 19.5Gbps, a 384-bit memory bus, PCIe 4.0 interface, NVLink SLI bridge. And a staggering 10496 CUDA cores. The boost clocks on both cards a little higher than the default 1695MHz, with the Gaming OC and Eagle OC running at 1755MHz and 1725MHz, respectively. Ports wise, both cards feature three DisplayPort 1.4a ports and two HDMI 2.1 ports.

Pricing for the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3090 Gaming OC and Eagle OC are set at RM7899 and RM7799, respectively. The Gaming OC version gets a four year warranty period, while the Eagle OC only gets three years. That said, consumers who purchase the Gaming OC version will need to register the card online in order to claim the additional one year warranty.
