Intel recently announced the existence of its new 11th generation Core CPUs, as well as its Atom x6000e series processors. As per Intel’s official press statement, both the lineups are designed for commercial and industrial clients and feature enhanced AI features, security, and real-time capabilities.

Building upon its recently announced Tiger Lake mobile CPUs, the new 11th generation Core CPUs are built with Intel’s 10nm process node, and feature up to four cores and eight threads at its highest-tier Core i7 SKU. Additionally, the lineup is also available in configurable thermal design points of 12W, 15W, and 28W.

Unsurprisingly, the new 11th generation Core CPUs also comes with the brand’s new Iris Xe integrated graphics with 96 graphics execution units (EU). According to Intel’s promotional video, this enables the processor to output up to two 8K displays at 60Hz, four 4K display at 60Hz, or two VDBoxes with the ability to process as many as 40 Full HD video stream. All at 30 fps.

Moving down the line is Intel’s Atom x6000E processors. Like its predecessors, these CPUs are designed for Internet of Things (IoT) applications, along with the obvious performance improvements for this generation. Specifically, industry clients can choose between dual-core and quad-core options, with burst frequencies of up to 3GHz, support for LPDDR4x RAM. Additionally, they also feature Intel’s UHD graphics that feature up to 32 EU.
