Back in August, word got out that Samsung was planning on launching the Galaxy M51, a mid-range smartphone under the Galaxy M series that also comes with some relatively solid hardware. The good news is that the phone will soon go on sale in the country.
One of the biggest draws of the Galaxy M51 is its battery capacity; out of the box, the phone houses a 7000mAh battery that is considerably – if not significantly – larger than most batteries currently found in flagship smartphones. Other hardware specifications include an octa-core CPU running at 2.2GHz, 8GB RAM, 128GB of expandable storage, and a 6.7-inch Full HD+, Super AMOLED Plus, Infinity-O display.
For cameras, the main camera module utilises a quad-sensor setup that consists of a 64MP main, 12MP ultra-wide, 5MP depth sensor, and a 5MP macro. As for the selfie camera, that’s handled by a 32MP sensor nestled within the notch on the top bezel.
As mentioned at the start, the Samsung Galaxy M51 will be going on sale in Malaysia soon, specifically from 24 September onwards. If you’re planning on buying the phone online, do note that Samsung is also offering an early bird price for the phone at RM1399 via its official LazMall store on Lazada. After the date, consumers will have to pay the original price of RM1599, should they wish to own the phone.
