Google seems to have introduced a new feature that will separate tabs to be displayed on devices that are equipped with dual displays. One such device that comes to mind would be the recently launched Microsoft Surface Duo which is currently exclusive to the US.
According to a report from 9to5Google, by using the new “Move to other window” option, Android users will be able to use their secondary display to open a separate tab in the Google Chrome app. This means that users will now be able to perform separate tasks on their devices secondary display while at the same time continue browsing on the primary display.
Additionally, in an effort to not have all tasks automatically restarted after it has been turned off or disconnected, Google has also implemented a special protection which will directly combine both tabs together without any troubles. For better understanding, Twitter user @Mishaal Rahman have demonstrated how the feature actually works.
Don't know when this started working, but the android-multiple-display flag now shows a "move tab to other window" button on the LG Velvet (and according to @MaxWinebach, the Surface Duo) and it works!

If you’re planning to buy or have already owned a dual-display device, it is worth noting that this feature is already running live on Google Chrome app now. At this time, devices that are compatible with this new feature includes the LG V60 ThinQ and the Microsoft Surface Duo.
