Rumours and leaks of the Samsung Galaxy S20 Fan Edition (FE) have been circulating the world wide web for a while now since its first unofficial unveiling by Evan Blass aka EvLeaks back in early August. Thanks to new information provided by the leakster, it appears that Samsung may be gearing up to officially unveil the aforementioned smartphone.
As pointed out by Blass on Twitter; a listing of the Galaxy S20 FE has appeared on the Samsung Philippines website, which officially confirmed the new model by name. It is not known if this is by the company’s intention, or is actually a blunder by its web team. At the time of writing, the FE’s listing is still visible on the website, which could also suggest an imminent launch.

However, clicking the “Learn More” button will only land you in a placeholder page with no further information regarding the Galaxy S20 FE. That said, the listing did reveal three noteworthy details: the phone’s official model number is SM-G780FZBGXTC, it will come with 128GB of internal storage, and is offered in two colours: dark grey and pink.
If previous rumours are accurate, the upcoming Galaxy S20 FE is believed to feature a 120Hz display, a Snapdragon 865 chipset (or an Exynos processor for Asian regions), 6GB of RAM, and a battery capacity of 4,500mAh. It may also feature a triple camera setup on its back, consisting of two 12MP sensors and a 8MP telephoto. Housed in on the display’s punch-hole camera cutout is said to be a 32MP selfie shooter.
As of now, no other Samsung regional websites have listed the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE except for the Philippines. Now that the company has somewhat spilled the beans (intentionally or otherwise), all that is left is for an official announcement – which is expected to be sometime soon.
