There were already rumours running rampant that the next release of the iPhone will feature 5G connectivity. Since last year, a long list of reputable sources including the likes of The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, TF International’s Ming-Chi Kuo and many more has talked about the plan that Apple may have for iPhone 12 5G.
You can now add this tweet from the prominent leaker, Evan Blass into the list as well:

What you are seeing here is likely a template of a marketing e-mail that belonged to a telco. The template has been heavily censored, so the identity of the telco alongside its pricing plan for iPhone 12 5G is still a mystery at the moment.
Nevertheless, you can still see references to Apple Watch Series 6 alongside AirPods although it is not known whether the space is meant for the rumoured over-ear headphones or an AirPods model. At the same time, there is also a line which said that the pre-order for iPhone 5G through the mystery telco will end on 20 October.
Now, the October timeline matches the report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman last night who stated that the iPhone 12 5G will not be revealed next week at Apple’s Time Flies launch event. Instead, the company will utilise the virtual event to unveil the Apple Watch Series 6 according to the veteran Apple-oriented journalist.
Well, we will only know for sure once the event takes place on 15 September. So, stay tuned.
